Ron Davidson named Galaxy 1st Team Head Coach
2010 Canadian Soccer League Coach of the Year comes to Brantford
Brantford, ON - Brantford Galaxy CSL 1st. Division Head coach Ron Davidson was
introduced by President Bosko Borjan at a press conference held in Brantford.
Ron Davidson brings over 15 years of extensive coaching experience from developing youth players to senior professional and amateur soccer.
Davidson brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to the club, which includes him being named 2010 Canadian Soccer League Coach of the Year, 2009 OSL Provincial Coach of the Year, and 2008 OSL Regional coach of the year. He also held the professional position of Head Coach with FC Hamilton Croatia in the Canadian Soccer League, where he dedicated a total of four years with the organization.
Davidson continues to further his personal achievements as he recently completed his UEFA B Licence in Europe. Ron holds his OSA Pre B, OSA Senior Diploma, FA Prelim badge, NCCP Practical and Technical levels, ICA Fitness and Conditioning Diploma, NSCAA member coach, member of the International Coaches Association and completion of the OSA Respect in Soccer Program Certification.
Davidson is currently a member of the Toronto FC Academy Program, hired as part of their new Scouting initiative.
